It was last Semester of B.E. One can hear only campus interviews, placements, walk-ins, packages, project execution, exam preparations….Only few patchups, breakups, parties, farewells added special spice to the semester.
No one was least bothered to think about how to keep in touch with friends after graduation, most of us never even thought as we had contact numbers, mailing address, hangout points amongst Friends. Everyone got placed or moved for higher studies. All of us got scattered across geography. Life became more busy, Profession became LIFE rather than part of LIFE. Hangouts/Meetings got reduced. Some had no time to call a Friend and some had no time to Pick the call.
Few among us inititated E-Mails and started engaging friends through chain Mails which made possible to be in touch each other. Eventually many more activities took place through E-Mails. Some are “Tip of the Day”, “Technical Topic of the day”, “Birthday wishes”, “Appreciation”, etc., Also we arranged Trips, which introduced new Friends, Strong understanding between each other.
With All our Dreams together, To be together the joyous “FUNATICS” emerged. So basically “FUNATICS” was formed mainly to strengthen the bond of friendship between Friends. The name perfectly suits as we were very much involved in Fun activities.
As days passed our Friends started thinking on doing some other activities too. We just don’t wanted to restrict ourself for Fun. While getting the Team closer to make life more fun and fulfilling in an altruistic way funatics now aspires to perform social service.
